といっても、後ろのからの追突なので、どうしようもないケースではあるのですが。

さて、年末に叔父の小松原院が高齢に伴い閉院されました

先日、小松原院の長年の患者様と方と思われる方からお電話あり、すぐに名誉院長に変わりました

同じ日に生まれ同年代の方々のお話は、施術もそうですが、それ以外の要素も非常に重要だと私は思っております

小松原院長閉院に伴い、特に年配の方でお困りの方はお気軽にご相談ください

私は、エコー観察や最新の治療機器の選定、必要ならMRIなどの協力頂ける整形外科への段取りなど対応広範囲に行います

私を希望する場合はお伝え頂いたら良いですが

同じ日に生まれているので、叔父、宰治先生の雰囲気を感じる名誉院長と色々なお話ししながら、施術受けられるのが、ベストではないかと私は思います

Now, since the start of this year, we have already seen five patients involved in traffic accidents.

The number was high even last month, but it continues to increase.

Please be extremely careful.

That said, since these are rear-end collisions, they are often unavoidable.

Also, a recent trend is the consistently high number of workers’ compensation cases.

We are grateful to the business owners who entrust their employees to our care.

Regardless of the circumstances, we strive to provide accurate assessments, treatments, and care.

Now, at the end of last year, my uncle’s Komatsubara Clinic closed due to his advanced age.

Recently, we received a call from someone who seemed to be a senior citizen. We immediately transferred the call to the Honorary Director.

It appears this person had been visiting Komatsubara Clinic whenever they were in pain, building a long-standing relationship. They immediately asked to speak to the Honorary Director.

I believe that for people born on the same day and of the same generation, factors beyond just treatment are also extremely important.

Following the closure of Komatsubara Clinic, please feel free to consult us, especially if you are an elderly person experiencing difficulties.

I handle a wide range of services, including ultrasound observation, selecting the latest treatment equipment, and arranging referrals to cooperating orthopedic clinics for MRI scans if needed.

If you wish to see me specifically, please just let us know.

However, since we share the same birthdate, I believe the best option might be to receive treatment while conversing with the Honorary Director, who embodies the spirit of my uncle, Dr. Saiji.

本日水曜日は、午前中で最終受付は12時ですが下記の理由にて12時に終わります

新年なので言及控えておりました

本年　１月３日に、和歌山の大病院から私の父に連絡あり、命が危ないので来てくださいと

父と私で急ぎで参りました

私が小さい頃、畠中整骨院受付でよく遊んでくれた方の命が危ないというお電話でした

父方の遠い親戚にあたります

その方の同居親族も体調悪く、その方のフォローその親戚の方が、いろいろ段取りしてから、自分で救急車呼んで大病院にいかれたようです

次の日、また、我々が親戚に会いにいこうと思ってましたが昼にあった日の夕方急変して、大病院からお電話頂き、すぐかけつけて、我々二人で、最後までついて看取りました

その昼、楽しく話しをして、今後の治療方針も

このようにお願いしますとその方と話してそうやなと本人さんの納得の上で、体調よくなれば、そのような根本治療行うと私とドクター、ナースさんが話しをして予定していたところでした

急遽入院するまでの体調を鑑みると、ドクター、看護師さんは、よくやって頂き、本当にありがとうございました

また、入院した親戚もよく我慢していたと私は思います

我々に負担かけないように心配かけないように、していたと思いますがもっと本質的な悩みを親戚から頂けたらよかったのになあと思います

しかし、その昼に親戚とお話しして、我々に伝えたいことを、全て伝えられました

そこが、救いだと重きます

おそらく覚悟を決められて入院されたと私は思います

次の日から、代わりの葬儀の段取り、同居親族の方をみていただいている方々に連絡とり、

私なりに父が心身疲れないようにいろいろ行ったつもりです

５日から仕事始めで私も時間に猶予ないので、

私の姉が、父のフォローをしてくれて、本日、告別式を13時に行います

そのため、12時には我々は当院を離れるのでご理解、ご協力のほどよろしくお願い申し上げます。

I refrained from mentioning it earlier due to the New Year.

On January 3rd this year, my father received a call from a major hospital in Wakayama, urgently requesting his presence as his life was in danger.

My father and I rushed there immediately.

This person was someone who often played with me at the reception desk of Hatakenaka Orthopedic Clinic when I was little.

He is a distant relative on my father’s side.

His cohabiting relative was also unwell. After making various arrangements to support that person, he apparently called an ambulance himself and went to the major hospital.

The next day, we planned to visit our relative, but his condition deteriorated suddenly in the evening. The two of us stayed by his side until the end.

That afternoon, we had a pleasant conversation and discussed the future treatment plan.

We agreed on the approach, and I had planned to tell the doctor and nurses that once his condition improved, we would proceed with that fundamental treatment.

Considering his condition right up until his sudden hospitalization, the doctor and nurses did an excellent job. We are truly grateful.

I also think our hospitalized relative endured a great deal.

I believe they tried not to burden us or cause us worry, but I wish they could have shared their deeper concerns with us.

However, during that afternoon conversation, they conveyed everything they wanted to tell us.

I consider that a saving grace.

I believe they entered the hospital having made their peace.

From the next day onward, I made arrangements for the funeral, contacted those looking after our cohabiting relatives,

and did what I could to ensure my father wasn’t physically or mentally exhausted.

Since work starts on the 5th and I have no time to spare,

my sister is taking over caring for my father. The funeral service will be held today at 1:00 PM.

Therefore, we will be leaving the hospital by 12:00 PM. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

あとでお伝えしますが、昨日からバタバタすることが、あり予定が大幅に狂いました

家族に何かあったわけではないのでご安心ください

さて、昨日アップ予定だった

当院の新しい治療機器の特殊設定によるEMS機能を使って、腹横筋の反応

結論から言えば非常によいポイントを発見しました

筋肉にははじまるところと終わるところがあります

腹横筋は、広範囲にわたるのは確かともいえます

また、これは他にも言われている方がおられるかもしれませんが、腹横筋鍛える定番的なドローインというトレーニング方法

私がエコー観察する限り、はっきりした膨らみが観察できませんでした

これは、わたしの照射方法も誤りかもしれませんので、一度論文などエコー含めて研究してみます

で、一般の方に公開できるようなもっとわかりやすい、エコー観察した様子を今、描写中ですので、完成したらアップさせて頂きます

YouTubeは、時間があれば毎日アップします

が、明日から仕事はじまります

ほとんどそんな時間はありません

不定期になりますが、数年やる、やらない

YouTubeのDVD2つ購入したのに、数年せずにいました

年末からYouTubeアップしましたが、完全に我流でDVD見ずにしました

私は実は説明書読むのが嫌いで試行錯誤してやりたい、変なタイプなのです笑

I’ll explain later, but things have been hectic since yesterday, throwing my schedule way off.

Please rest assured, nothing happened to my family.

Now, regarding what was scheduled for yesterday’s update:

Using the EMS function with special settings on our clinic’s new treatment device to observe the transverse abdominis muscle’s response

To cut to the chase, I discovered an exceptionally good point.

Muscles have a starting point and an ending point.

It’s certainly true that the transverse abdominis spans a wide area.

Also, while others may have mentioned this before, regarding the standard “draw-in” training method for strengthening the transverse abdominis

based on my ultrasound observations, I couldn’t clearly see a distinct bulge.

This might be due to my irradiation method being incorrect, so I’ll research papers and ultrasound studies on this.

I’m currently working on describing the ultrasound observations in a way that’s easier for the general public to understand. I’ll upload it once it’s complete.

I’ll upload to YouTube daily if I have time.

However, work starts tomorrow.

I’ll hardly have any time.

It’ll be irregular, but I’ll keep it up for a few years, or maybe not.

I bought two YouTube DVDs, but ended up not using them for years.

I started uploading to YouTube around year-end, but did it completely on my own without watching the DVDs.

Truthfully, I hate reading manuals and prefer trial and error—I’m a weird type like that, haha.

Despite this, I take my work seriously and aim to provide attentive customer service. Starting tomorrow, I humbly ask for your continued support of Hatakenaka Orthopedic Clinic in Wakaura-guchi through 2026.

Well, the first three days of the year are almost over.

Yesterday, we had an emergency patient with symptoms of a severe ankle sprain.

Considering the damaged ligaments, we applied an Ortho-Glass splint.

Now, our clinic has shed the New Year mood.

We are preparing for the start of work next Monday,

with operations resuming on Monday the 5th.

We will be open for treatment both morning and afternoon sessions.

さて、昨日、お正月に気の毒な話ですが

遊んでいて転んで手を突っ張って負傷

前腕骨が、かなりずれていて徒手整復(ズレている骨を戻す) 固定を行い、不安定な状況なので

即日にレントゲンとって頂けるところを手配して上記骨折疑いが、骨折と確定診断されました

正月早々、本当にお気の毒な話です

さて、今、箱根駅伝始まりましたね

この駅伝をみたら、私の大学時代を思い出します

全国から集まった仲間と練習し、日本武道館で戦った思い出

一昨年、箱根ゴール地点でみていました

雨が降っていて激寒でした

箱根行きのバスが10時にはとまるということで

新幹線駅の小田原駅の近くに泊まりました

一番いいのは、ゴールすぐそばの芦ノ湖の箱根ホテルですが、とるのは無理です笑

箱根にいってみてまた暖かい時にいきたいと思いました

それは、非常に楽しい場所で、ケーブルカー、船、バス、電車でほぼ同じ場所にいける

近隣の新和歌浦もこんなにできないのかなあと思いました

で、いってみて、思ったのは、

次泊まるときは、箱根湯本という場所ですね

ここなら、交通の便と箱根駅伝を堪能

寒いなら、箱根神社前のセブンイレブンオススメです😛

各大学のご健闘をお祈りしております

さて、今年度は、急患様に特化したような院

おのうらにも考えております

当院は日本柔整外傷協会に所属しているのですが、ここの所属の先生で是非やってみたいとあれば、タッグを組みたいところです

おのうらなら、雑賀崎からまた、紀ノ川こえたあたりからも橋一本でご来院すること可能です

和歌浦も大概立地はよいですが、その地域の急患様には、おのうらも抜群です

今年は、いろいろな展開を構想してますので、突っ走ります

Now, yesterday, unfortunately during the New Year holidays,

a patient injured themselves while playing—they fell and braced themselves with their hands.

The forearm bone was significantly displaced. We performed manual reduction (realigning the displaced bone) and immobilization. Due to the unstable condition,

we arranged for an X-ray yesterday, which confirmed the suspected injury as a fracture.

It’s truly unfortunate to have this happen so early in the New Year.

In such urgent and troublesome situations,

please call Wakauraguchi Hatanaka Orthopedic Clinic at 073-444-0618.

For those unfamiliar, it’s just past Akibayama, right next to Toyota Corolla.

The call will connect to the director’s mobile. If he is out and unable to handle it personally, we will arrange for an orthopedic surgeon to assist, though availability cannot be guaranteed.

Now, the Hakone Ekiden relay race is on right now.

Watching this race brings back memories of my university days.

Memories of training with teammates gathered from all over Japan and competing at the Nippon Budokan.

I watched it in Hakone the year before last.

It was raining and bitterly cold.

Since we weren’t sure if the buses to Hakone would run,

we stayed near Odawara Station, the Shinkansen station.

The best option would be the Hakone Hotel right by Lake Ashi near the finish line, but getting a room there is impossible, haha.

After going to Hakone, I thought I’d like to go again when it’s warmer.

It’s a really fun place where you can get to almost the same spots by cable car, boat, bus, or train.

I wondered if nearby Shinwakaura could do something like this too.

So, after going, I thought,

Next time I stay, it’ll be Hakone-Yumoto.

Here, you get great transportation access and can fully enjoy the Hakone Ekiden.

If it’s cold, I recommend the 7-Eleven in front of Hakone Shrine 😛

I wish all the universities the best of luck.

Now, this year, I’m considering opening a clinic in Onoura

specializing in emergency patients.

Our clinic belongs to the Japan Association of Osteopathic Medicine and Traumatology. If any doctors affiliated with this association are interested in collaborating, I’d love to team up.

From Onoura, you can easily reach us by crossing just one bridge, whether coming from Saigazaki or from the area beyond the Kinokawa River.

This year, I’m charging ahead with various plans in mind.

This year, likely starting around spring, we will be doing some renovations to the Hatanaka Chiropractic Clinic building.

It will be our 14th year since relocating from Wakaura East to Wakaura West.

The rapidly changing medical landscape,

the positioning of Fitness Club Plus,

what the Kenshinkan Hatanaka Dojo can offer,

and we are also recruiting tenants simultaneously, so we anticipate new developments.

As our clinic, we aim to connect with the next generation.

Securing licensed professionals, securing part-time licensed staff,

Reinforcing evening part-time staff (including high school students),

We intend to strengthen our personnel in these areas.

We want to prepare and activate the manpower to make all kinds of proposals.

This fiscal year, we will contract with an accounting firm specializing in healthcare.

As we venture into diverse, cross-industry realms, we seek precise legal guidance. We also plan to engage a retained attorney.

All for the sake of our patients.
