昨日は、健心館OBが、天理高校、天理大学へと進学してよく頑張りました
関西学生個人戦で決勝で天理の先輩に敗退しましたが、準優勝
まだ、3回生なので柔道みていたらまだまだ伸びる伸びしろがあると感じました
また、私がよく稽古させて頂いた天理、近大などの猛者が揃う大阪拘置所柔道部でよく稽古して頂いた方と久しぶりに再会しました
柔道会場いくと同窓会みたいで楽しいですね
その際に、その方の子どもさんと高校から一緒みたいでえーとなりました
世間は狭いものです
また、姪っ子も強豪、和歌山信愛ソフトテニス部でレギュラーで、先日の大会では信愛は全国制覇して、第一シードでした。
でも夏のインターハイはどの競技も勝ち上がるのは大変です。5位入賞。インターハイに出てタイミング的に応援に行けませんでした
が、別の試合で姪っ子は！皇后杯出場獲得を決めて、今度は皇后杯に出場するということでこれは身内ながら、素晴らしいと思いました
昨日の健心館OBも関西学生準優勝なので講道館杯に出場決定しました
講道館杯は、高校から大学、社会人の選ばれた選手のみ出場できる体重別の日本柔道の最高峰の試合ともいえます
身近な子の試合での活躍は、元気をもらえます
私も負けずに仕事頑張ります

I am Takeshi Hatakenaka, Director of Hatakenaka Osteopathic Clinic.
Yesterday, Kenshinkan alumni did well as they went on to Tenri High School and Tenri University!
They lost in the final of the Kansai Student Individual Tournament to a senior from Tenri, but they still managed to win second place!
He is still in his third year of judo, so I felt that he still has a lot of room to grow and develop.
I also met again for the first time in a long time with a person who used to train with me at the Osaka Detention Center Judo Club, where Tenri, Kindai University, and other strong competitors were gathered, where I used to practice a lot.
It’s like a reunion when you go to a judo hall!
I was surprised to find out that he and his son had been together since high school!
The world is a small place!
My niece is also a regular member of Wakayama Shinai Soft Tennis Club, a strong team, and she participated in the Inter-Highs, but I couldn’t go to support her due to the timing.
I couldn’t go to the Inter-Highs to cheer for her, but I thought it was wonderful that she will be participating in the Empress Cup this time!
Yesterday, Kenshinkan alumni also decided to participate in the Kodokan Cup since they were the runner-up of Kansai students!
The Kodokan Cup is the pinnacle of judo in Japan, where only selected athletes from high schools, universities, and adults are allowed to compete.
It cheers me up to see my close friends’ performance in the competition.
I will do my best at work, too.
