早速ですが、父の米寿記念のために

また、父とは末長く思い出を作りたいと思います

父が毎日みて、好きな大相撲観戦に行きました

その日も最近、優勝が、千秋楽までもつれることを想定して、千秋楽で、西の枡席で、ゆっくりみさせて頂きました

家族で春場所にいくのは、かなり久しぶり

そのときは母も一緒でした

私も思いつきで15年以上前に二階席の方から

この前断髪式をさせて頂いた碧山関の出始めの頃のいい力士さん入ったなあと見に行った以来。

両国国技館で、断髪式はさせて頂くのですが

ガッツリ観戦は、私も嬉しい日でした

その後、関西大学の関係で、すごく親近感あった、安青錦関の所属する安治川部屋の千穐楽報告会にいってきました

リーガロイヤル大阪で行われたのですが、あの辺は、よくいくのですが、最近中に入ってなかったので、これもまた久しぶりでした。やっぱり素晴らしいホテルの接客でした。

霧島関も大関に復活、おめでとうございます

安青錦関の優勝からの横綱を期待してました。が、横綱になれば、さらにプレッシャーが強くなる。その前に準備として、さらなる強さをみせてくれることと思います

父も一緒に安青錦関と写真とれてよかったです。

まだまだ米寿のお祝いのイベントを、しようと思っております

末長くお元気でまたその背中を追いかけていきます

In front of the Wakaura-guchi bus stop in Wakayama City,

I am Tajeshi Hatakenaka, director of Hatakenaka Osteopathic Clinic.

To get right to the point, to celebrate my father’s 88th birthday,

and also because I want to continue creating lasting memories with him,

we went to watch sumo wrestling—something my father watches every day and loves.

Since the tournament had recently been close enough to go down to the final day, we took our time watching the final day from the West Box Seats.

Afterward, through my connections at Kansai University, I attended the final day debriefing for the Ajigawa stable, to which Yasuaki-no-Nishiki belongs.

It was held at the Rihga Royal Osaka. I often go to that area, but I hadn’t been inside the hotel in a while, so I was impressed by the wonderful hospitality.

Congratulations to Kirishima on his return to the rank of Ōzeki.

I had been hoping for Anseikin to become Yokozuna after winning the tournament, but becoming Yokozuna would only increase the pressure. I believe he will demonstrate even greater strength as he prepares for that.

I’m glad my father was able to take a photo with Anseikin as well.

We’re still planning to hold an event to celebrate his 88th birthday.

I hope he stays healthy for many years to come, and I’ll continue to follow in his footsteps.
