早速ですが、当院では、整骨院では全国初とメーカーさんが言われている20年以上前から導入している骨折早くつけるように期待できる治療機器

低出力超音波治療機器

骨折に限らず靱帯損傷、軟骨損傷、半月板などケガの早期回復に使用しております

当院ではメーカーさんから確認していたので　特に患者様から言われたことないです

が、当院も会員である

成長軟骨に対する超音波は全てが禁忌というわけでは無く、

超音波の設定が温熱効果が発生する出力（具体的には高出力

DUTY50〜100%）が子供の骨端軟骨に異常をきたす可能性があるといわれています。

超音波の温熱作用により、局所の細胞代謝が過剰に促進され軟骨細胞の分裂や分化が乱れ、異常な骨化を誘発する可能性があると言われています。

LIPUSの場合は、超音波の出力がDUTY5～20%と、低出力の為、温熱作用は働きません。非温熱作用の為、急性期の外傷にも対応しています。

また、現時点で国内ではLIPUS等の超音波治療が成長軟骨へ何かしらの悪影響が出たという報告は見られませんでした。

メーカーさんも

超音波の出力が高すぎると骨端線に影響を及ぼす可能性があるため注意が必要ですが、LIPUSは非常に低出力で、温熱作用もないため、成長期のお子様にも安全に使用できるとされています。

実際に問題が生じたという報告も現時点では確認されておりません。

当院では、3機ありますが、今期は最新の治療機器を導入したので、そこは増やしませんでしたが、来季は6機にする予定でいます

その際は日本シグマックス社製を導入予定となっております

As a quick reminder, our clinic has been using a treatment device that is said to be the first of its kind in Japan for osteopathic clinics and has been introduced more than 20 years ago by the manufacturer.

Low-power ultrasound treatment equipment

We use it not only for fractures, but also for early recovery from injuries such as ligament damage, cartilage damage, and meniscus.

Our clinic has never been told about it, especially by our patients, since we had confirmed it from the manufacturer.

However, our clinic is a member of the Japan Trauma Association.

However, we have received some comments from parents and guardians from doctors of the Japan Trauma Association, of which our clinic is a member.

Do you think it will affect the cartilage?There are cases where parents have questions about whether or not the cartilage is affected.

It is quite a lot of text and easy to understand, but since it is for the members, I will quote a few excerpts

Not all ultrasound for growth cartilage is contraindicated,

The ultrasound settings should be set to an output that produces a warming effect (specifically, high output

DUTY 50-100%) may cause abnormalities in the epiphyseal cartilage of children.

It is said that the thermal effect of ultrasound may induce abnormal ossification by excessively accelerating local cell metabolism and disrupting the division and differentiation of chondrocytes.

In the case of LIPUS, the ultrasound output is low (5-20% duty cycle), so the hyperthermic effect does not work.Because of its non-thermal action, LIPUS can be used for acute trauma.

Also, at this point in time, there have been no reports of LIPUS or other ultrasound treatments having any adverse effects on growth cartilage in Japan.

The manufacturer also

While caution is required when ultrasound output is too high, as it can affect the epiphyseal line, LIPUS has a very low output and no thermal effect, so it is considered safe to use in growing children.

There have been no reports of actual problems at this time.

We have three LIPUS machines in our clinic, but since we introduced the latest treatment equipment this term, we did not increase the number of machines there, but we plan to increase the number to six next season.

In that case, we are planning to introduce a new machine made by Sigmax Japan.
